KSA is a Tel Aviv based practice. The office is a theoretical and practical knowledge center, that specializes in several key areas:
Urban Renewal
Leveraging our extensive experience in the realm of urban renewal, we specialize in leading projects of all sizes and complexities.
Our expertise spans both large-scale projects, exceeding 5,OOO residential units and down to small-scale, buildings or complex renewal under the ‘TAMA 38’ code and its derivatives.
Years of significant involvement in the urban renewal field, empower us to craft meticulously designed projects, that not only adhere to architectural and urban-design standards, but also meet economic and practical criteria, encompassing entrepreneurial, appraisal, and programmatic considerations.
Mixed-use projects
We hold significant experience, designing mixed-use projects, including residential, hotel, public, commercial, and office spaces.
Our deep understanding of the intricacies of mixed-use projects enables us to navigate both the design and technical complexities, ensuring the optimal integration of diverse building functions and their associated systems.
High-Rise buildings
Leading high-rise ‘mega-projects’ design, including a proper integration with the existing urban fabric is a complex process. It includes coordination with large consulting and engineering teams, dealing with complex building systems and advanced envelopes, and coordination with various authorities.
The office holds experience in leading projects containing a significant amount of building rights, while leading an orderly design process and effective integration with the different stakeholders.
Design
The office is engaged in developing a unique design concept for each project. We invest research time as part of an orderly design process linking program, function, and form, harnessing the design as a tool to enhance value for the project and its surroundings.
This is made both at the level of the building’s interior and outdoor spaces, and both at the urban level and the project’s connection with the surrounding urban fabric.
Feasibility Tests & Statutory Analysis
Our expertise encompasses a comprehensive understanding of the statutory code and planning regulations, as well as the intricacies of detailed design and construction.
This blend of theoretical and practical knowledge empowers us to conduct initial stage evaluations with accuracy, before delving into advanced design stages.
This set of tools fosters time and resource efficiency by providing clear direction early on, serving as a valuable ability for real estate companies with regard to commercial deals and tenders of various types.
Renewable Energy
We view the environmental field in general and the field of renewable energies in particular, as a tool for creating higher quality projects with added value at the architectural, environmental, and entrepreneurial level.
As the former Vice President of Planning and Chief Architect at YVS-Energy - a group specializing in renewable energy entrepreneurship, design, and construction, Koren holds rich knowledge and experience in the field.
Within his past role, he established the planning department, overseeing activities such as design, permits, statutory planning, and project management for a diverse scope of projects, including ground mounted and floating energy facilities, PV integrated structures, APV facilities, and energy storage facilities.
In continuation, Koren established the office’s renewable energy division – KSE (Koren Shachar Energy).
The division harnesses our unique body of knowledge into the design process of renewable energy systems, buildings, and masterplans.
