The project offers a large-scale renewal of the city’s urban fabric. It renews a neighborhood bridging the city’s entrance area that includes the future train station, and the city center - two areas already undergoing rapid development. The new masterplan introduces an additional mix of residential apartments, commercial spaces, and public buildings, including a new elementary school as part of an integrated educational complex. The layout is designed around a series of ‘urban content spaces’- spaces that include an open shaded public area, situated next to a public building, allowing a mix of indoor and outdoor activities throughout the neighborhood. These spaces are connected by a layer of shaded streets, boulevards and pathways creating a cohesive urban structure. This structure serves as a platform for diverse activity, defining the new neighborhood life experience and strengthening the connection to its surroundings.
